ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the first respondent Police to execute the warrant issued in C.C.No.702 of 2022 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Manamadurai against the accused.

2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submits that they have received the summon recently and the accused is residing at Chennai and therefore, a request has been made to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai to refer the warrant to the concerned Police Station at Chennai, so that the Chennai Police can easily execute the warrant.

3.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent Police to take steps to execute the warrant as expeditiously as possible.
