Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to cancel the patta issued in the name of the respondents 4 and 5 in Survey No.18/1B, 18/1A2 and 18/1A3 in Patta No.394 and 576 at A. Meenakshipuram Village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District and mutating in the old Patta No.12 in S. No.18/1 at A.Meenakshipuram Village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District in the name of the petitioner on this basis of considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2023.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to

3. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the respondents 4 and 5 is dispensed with.

2.The petitioner claims title over the petition mentioned property. The grievance of the petitioner is that without notice to the petitioner, 2/4

survey number was sub divided and patta was issued in the names of the private respondents. Seeking its cancellation, the petitioner filed appeal before the second respondent.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the second respondent will conduct enquiry and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from today.

4.Recording the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
