ORDER

This petition has been taken out seeking return of the original 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

CMP(MD). No.4464 of 2026 settlement deed dated 12.11.1996, which has been marked as Ex.A15 before the trial court.

2. Mr. M.P. Senthil, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, states that the parties are likely to settle the matter and that, for effecting such settlement, the original settlement deed is necessary.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents affirms the said contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. In view of the above, there can be no impediment in returning the original settlement deed marked as Ex.A15 in O.S. No. 78 of 2010 on the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Kuzhithurai.

5. Accordingly, this petition is ordered. Registry is directed to return the original document dated 12.11.1996 after substituting a xerox copy of the same, on or before 30.04.2026.
