This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to investigate the above case in respect of Cr.No.17 of 2018 pending on the file of the respondent police and to lay the final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation was conducted and the final report was also filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Trichy, C.C.No.528 of 2021 was assigned.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
