This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking the relief to call for the records in Crime No.2 of 2016 on the file of the respondent Police and quash the same as illegal. 2.Today, when the Criminal Original Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondent appeared before this Court through Hybrid mode. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), on instructions, would submit that in respect of Crime No.2 of 2016, the respondent police had concluded the investigation and filed the final report on 03.09.2021 before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Special Judge, Nagercoil. 3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
