Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and police protection to conduct Kabadi Tournament from 13.07.2018 at about 08.00 p.m. to 15.07.2018 at about 02.00 p.m. at Ambedkar Thidal, Peruvalanallur Village, Lalkudi Taluk, Trichy District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2018.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and police protection to conduct Kabadi Tournament from 13.07.2018 at about 08.00 p.m. to 15.07.2018 at about 02.00 p.m. at Ambedkar Thidal, Peruvalanallur Village, Lalkudi Taluk, Trichy District, by consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2018.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), who take notice on behalf of the respondents.
3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 27.06.2018 to the respondents. But, so far, no order has been passed on the said representation. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the aforesaid prayer.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the representation of the petitioner dated 27.06.2018 is directed to be considered and an order to that effect would be passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that if any direction is granted by this Court with regard to the consideration of the petitioner's representation, the same shall be considered in accordance with law. 6.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2018 and pass appropriate orders on or before 12.07.2018 on merits and in accordance with law.
7.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
