This Writ Petition has been field for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents not to invoke Act -14 as against the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the Writ Petition was filed in the year 2022 and till date, Act-14 was not in force.

4. Recording the same, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. However, in future, if any situation arises for invoking Act-14 against the petitioner, it is open to the respondents to take action in the manner known to law.
