Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS to direct the 1st respondent board to pass final orders on the reference made by the 2nd respondent in PROC.No.10996/03/B5/TRY dated 22.09.2025 within the time that maybe stipulated by this Honourable Court and pass such further or other orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

ORDER

The writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the 1st respondent to pass final orders with reference to proceedings bearing reference Proc.No.10996/B5/TRY dated 22.09.2025 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.M.Mahaboob Athiff, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Haroon Rasheed, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 3.When the matter was called for admission, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that earlier when the petitioner approached this Court by way of W.P.(MD). No. 14871 of 2025, this Court by an order dated 02.06.2025, directed the

2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2025 and pass orders as expeditiously as possible. In compliance with this direction, the 2nd respondent has taken up the matter and made a reference by way of proceedings as mentioned in the prayer.

4. The Wakf Board is yet to make a decision and pass final orders in this regard. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Wakf Board would submit that a period of four months has been granted and that the final orders will be passed in accordance with the law.

5. In view thereof, this writ petition is ordered on the following terns:- i. Within four months from the date of receipt of a web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order, let final orders be passed on the reference made by the 2nd respondent vide proceeding Proc.No.10996/B5/TRY dated 22.09.2025. ii. No costs.
