O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the Contemnor/Respondent herein for the willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.12216 of 2019, dated 03.09.2019.

2.This Court, by an order, dated 03.09.2019 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.12216 of 2019 directed the second respondent police to complete the enquiry and file a final report, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Cont.P.(MD).No.681 of 2020 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that as directed by this Court, since a case has been registered for the offence under Section 380 IPC, the respondent police could not able to complete the enquiry. Now the investigation is almost completed and about to file a final report and seeks further period of two weeks time. 4.Considering the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the respondent police is directed to file a final report in Crime No.296 of 2017 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this Contempt Petition is disposed of.
