PRAYER :- For Bail in Cr.No. 251 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who was arrested on 22.05.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa)r/w.4(1-A) of TNP Act in Crime No.251 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that when the respondent police was on usual rounds on 22.05.2021 at about 7.00 am., near Karuppur Maniyatrangarai burial ground they found the petitioner in possession of 110 litres of Pondicherry arrack. Hence the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 22.05.2021, hence he seek bail.

CRL OP(MD). No.8361 of 2021 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed this petition on the ground that the investigation is not yet completed. He would further submit that two previous case of similar nature are pending against the petitioner in Crime Nos.433 of 2021 and 370 of 2019.

5. Taking into consideration all these facts and also considering the fact that the petitioner is having two previous cases of similar nature in the year of 2021, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
