Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to direct the third respondent to give adequate protection to Abishegam, Annathanam schedule on 12.07.2018, in Sri Kaman Temple, situated in Midhilaipatty Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2018. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the first respondent to direct the third respondent to give adequate protection to Abishegam, Annathanam scheduled to be held on 12.07.2018, in Sri Kaman Temple, situated in Midhilaipatty Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2018.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 05.07.2018 to the respondents. But, so far, no order has been passed on the said representation. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the representation of the petitioner dated 05.07.2018 is directed to be considered and an order to that effect would be passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner made a representation in the individual capacity. Therefore, the said fact also should be taken note by the respondents at the time of considering the said representation.
6.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 12.07.2018.
7.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
