O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 12.05.2022.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the third respondent is the daughter-in-law of the petitioner herein. The petitioner's son, who is the third respondent's husband went to Saudia Arabia for his employment. When the petitioner's son was in abroad, the third respondent has given frequent trouble to the petitioner and his wife and due to several disputes arose between the them, the third respondent left from her matrimonial home.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that during the year 2019, when the petitioner's son returned to India and requested the third respondent to live with his son, however, the third respondent refused to live with him. Due to several disputes arose between them, the petitioner sent a representation to the first respondent on 12.05.2022 and no action has been taken by the respondent Police. Hence, she prays before this Court to consider the representation made by him. 2/4

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that already a case in DVC.No.8 of 2022 has been filed by the third respondent herein before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam, Pudukottai District and an affidavit has been filed by the petitioner herein stating that they will not make any trouble to the third respondent herein.

5. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition and the accordingly, the same stands dismissed. No costs. 01.02.2024 Index :Yes/No Internet :Yes/No TSG To: - 1.The Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam, Pudukottai District.
