The petitioner, based on a Will of his mother has sought for issuance of separate patta. According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, his mother has bequeathed specific and bounded property and therefore, there is no difficulty for issuance of separate patta. However, learned Government Advocate would submit that before issuance of separate patta, necessary sub-division would have to be carried out. In fact, the petitioner has already made an application not only for issuance of separate patta but for sub-division also. 2.In the light of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 24.03.2025, by effecting necessary sub-division and also issue patta, after putting on notice all interested parties and giving them an opportunity before passing final orders. The said exercise shall be carried out within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
