ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents No. 1 and 2 to remove the names of Respondents 3 to 5 from Patta No.1523 in respect property comprised of Old Survey No. 1103/1 and New Survey No.1103/1B2 at Vadakarai Keelpidaagai Village, Sengottai Taluk, Tenkasi District and subsequently transfer the patta of the aforesaid property in pursuance of the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2026 and her online application dated 16.03.2026. 2.The petitioner contends that her mother, namely Ismail Beevi, purchased land measuring 451⁄2 cents comprised in Old Survey No.1103/1 and New Survey No.1103/1B2, situated at Vadakarai Keelpidaagai Village, Sengottai Taluk, Tenkasi District, from one Ramaiah Velaar through a registered sale deed bearing Document No.630/1984 dated 19.05.

1984 for valuable consideration. Thereafter, the petitioner's mother executed a registered settlement deed dated 17.01.2013 in favour of the petitioner, vide Document No.110/2013. Pursuant to the same, the petitioner has been in possession and enjoyment of the property.

an error in the revenue records, the property is wrongly recorded in the names of respondents 3 to 5. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation to the official respondents seeking rectification of the same. 3.Considering the above facts, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2026 and her online application dated 16.03.2026, and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as respondents 3 to 5, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Before passing such orders, the first respondent shall provide an opportunity for personal hearing to the petitioner as well as respondents 3 to 5.
