ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with this petition for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to release the pending retirement benefits due to the petitioner within the time frame fixed by this Court upon considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2017. 2.Mr.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. By the consent of both parties, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner is a retired employee of the Agriculture Department. He attained his superannuation on 30.04.2014. 4.It appears that on account of some objections the pension benefit of the petitioner is being withheld. In this regard a communication was sent by the second respondent to the first respondent on 16.06.2017 by enclosing the undertaking given by the writ petitioner. But the first respondent is yet to pass any orders thereon. This Court will have to note that the pension benefits payable to the retired employees will have to speedily disbursed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
There cannot be any undue delay in the process. The first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders in the matter relating to the petitioner. Communication will be sent to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With this above direction, this writ petition disposed of. No costs.
