ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.There is a dispute between the petitioner on the one hand and the fourth respondent on the other. Last year, the temple festival was conducted in the presence of Executive Officer. The methodology adopted last year shall be adopted this year also. It is specifically directed that no person shall be conferred first honour. I make it clear that I have not gone into the rival claims. The direction given in this writ petition is only for celebration of the temple festival.

3.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
