P RAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue a joint patta for the land in S.F.No.469/1 of an extent of 43 cents, S.F.No.469/2 of an extent of 40 cents, S.F.No.469/3 of an extent of 13 cents situated at Seelapadi Village, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2023.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to issue joint patta in the name of the petitioner and the other co-owners.

2. The petitioner has made an application in this regard on 07.04.2023, and the said application is pending without any progress. Hence, the petitioner has filed this present writ petition and seeks expeditious disposal of the representation by including his name in the joint patta in respect of the S.F.Nos.469/1, 469/2 & 469/3 situated at 2/4

Seelapadi Village, Dindigul District. The petitioner claims right only by way of intestate succession and now the other co-owners are impleaded as respondents in the writ petition.

3. In view of the above, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition by giving direction to the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 07.04.2023, and issue a joint patta in respect of the subject survey numbers, after hearing the petitioner as well as the respondents 4 to 11 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks.

4. With the above said observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
