Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the first respondent in I.D.No.193 of 1995 dated 17.12.2013 and to quash the same and consequently, directing the second respondent to give back wages and other monetary benefits till the date of the petitioner's superannuation.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The writ petitioner herein filed I.D.No.193 of 1995 before the Labour Court, Madurai. According to him, he was employed in Madurai Corporation and that he was summarily dismissed without any notice in the year 1973. The writ petitioner originally secured an exparte award. The same was set aside and the matter was remitted. On remand, the Labour Court went into the entire material on records and came to the conclusion that the writ petitioner has not produced any iota of material . That apart it is seen that the petitioner has knocked the doors of Labour Court after a lapse of twenty two https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ years. Therefore, the Labour Court has rightly dismissed I.D.No.193

of 1995, filed by the petitioner herein and the same cannot be interfered with. There is no merit in this Writ Petition. 3.The Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Sd/ Assistant Registrar (CS-II) /True copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To The Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Madurai.
