This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to permit the petitioner to conduct the temple festival in the Sri Senbaga Vinayagar Temple, Sri Durgai Amman Temple, Sri Karuppasamy Temple and Sri Mariyamman Temple at M.Kumarasakkanapuram Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District on 06.06.2022 to 08.06.2022 with light and sound. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

2. The petitioner is the native of M.Kumarasakkanapuram Village and there are totally four temples in his village, namely, Sri Senbaga Vinayagar Temple, Sri Durgai Amman Temple, Sri Karuppasamy Temple and Sri Mariyamman Temple. The village people scheduled to start the festival on 31.05.2022 by erecting the spiritual pole and to conduct the festival from 06.06.2022 to 08.06.2022 in the said temples. In that regard, the petitioner approached the respondents 1 to 3 at several occasions in person and requested them to give permission to conduct temple festival, but there was no action taken by them till date. Hence the petitioner approached this Court by filing this writ petition.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 10.05.2022 in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 05.06.2022.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
