Taluk, Madurai District, in similar with the other adjacent persons, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 08.04.2023. For Petitioner :

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to grant free house site patta in respect of the land in Survey Number 416, Kidaripatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, by considering her representation, dated 08.04.2023.
2. According to the petitioner, she has been living in one cent of land in the above mentioned survey number for the past 50 years. Based on her long possession, she submitted a representation before respondents 1 and 2 on 08.04.2023, seeking issuance of patta. The same has not been considered. Hence, she has come before this Court.
3. The Additional Government Pleader, appearing for respondents 1 and 2, would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner
will be considered in accordance with law. Though fourth respondent has been served and his name printed in the cause list, there is no representation on his behalf.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.04.2023, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected W.M.P.(MD) No.8384 of 2023 is closed. 15.07.2025 NCC :
