ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 14.05.2018 and proceed with the same as per law.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 3.Perusal of the complaint indicates that there is some dispute between the petitioner and the Branch Manager, Canara Bank, Ramanathapuram Branch, Ramnad and it is alleged that the title deeds of the petitioner are withheld by the Branch Manager, Canara Bank, Ramanathapuram Branch, Ramnad and he is demanding bribe to return the document.

4.At one place it is alleged that the demand was made to one Raja represented by the company and in other place it is contended that the Branch Manager, Canara Bank, Ramanathapuram Branch, Ramnad, Karuppaiah, is demanding some amounts from him for returning the document. The complaint as such does not make out a case for CBI to investigate.

Director, DVAC, Chennai, for him to enquire. If anything is made out to register investigation, CBI will take up the investigation.
