ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 08.03.2021, wherein, the petitioner has sought for cancellation of the documents that were executed in the years 1998 and 2001 respectively.

2. Heard Mr.V.Illanchezian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. In the considered view of this Court, the respondents are not vested with the right to cancel any documents. That apart, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.11440 of 2021 the petitioner has not even stated as to how he got the right over the property and the petitioner is merely relying upon the patta. The respondents cannot go into the title of the property, more particularly, the documents pertaining to the years 1998 and 2001.

4. In view of the above, no useful purpose will be served in directing the respondents 1 and 2 to deal with the representation made by the petitioner. It is left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the competent Civil Court in the manner known to law.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
