Prayer:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to rectify the mistake committed while updating the revenue records by erroneously classified the Resurvey No.85/10, Old Survey No.3225 of an extent of 11 Cents situate at Vellamcode Village, Arumani Post, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District as a salaioram instead of private patta land.

ORDER

The writ petitioner had filed earlier writ petition in WP(MD)No. 16402 of 2022, seeking the very same relief and that was disposed on 27.07.2018. A direction was given to the fourth respondent therein namely Tahsildhar, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District. 2.It is now represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the appropriate authority would be the second respondent therein, namely the District Revenue Officer, Kanyakumari District. The second writ petition filed by the writ petitioner for the very same relief is not maintainable. Such 2/5

an order cannot be passed by this Court.

3.However, liberty is given to the petitioner to seek clarification for the earlier order dated 27.07.2018 in WP(MD)No.16402 of 2018, even filing writ miscellaneous petition, seeking clarification that orders should be issued against the second respondent not the fourth respondent therein. In the present writ petition, no order can be passed. 4.Since direction is given, this writ petition stands disposed. No costs.
