ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to withdraw the case in Crime No.532 of 2023 from the file of the second respondent and transfer the same to some other independent agency for fair investigation.

2. The petitioner submitted that the petitioner herein is the de facto complainant who lodged the complaint as against five persons for the suicide of the petitioner's brother Satheeshkumar and also a FIR in crime No.532 of 2023 was registered. However, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence this petition.

3. Learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that the investigation is properly carried out and further investigation is pending for receipt of RFSL report from the forensic laboratory and on receipt of the RFSL report, the investigation will be concluded.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), this Court directs the second respondent police to 2/4

expedite the investigation and complete the same within a period of four weeks. The first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation, being conducted by the second respondent police and the second respondent police is directed to appraise the progress in the investigation every Friday to the first respondents.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
