Mr.N.Shanmuga Selvam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. Notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with in view of nature of the order to be passed by this Court.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has approached the first respondent herein seeking to grant free house site patta which has not been considered by the first respondent till date and therefore, he has filed the present writ petition.

4. In this connection, the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the first respondent herein with a representation ventilating his grievance and on receipt of such representation, the first respondent herein shall consider the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of such representation.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
