PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to issue a direction, directing the 2nd respondent to give police protection for the cultivation of petitioner's land comprising in Survey No.240/3 to the extent of 24 cent at Thuvarankurichi Village, Marungapury Taluk, Trichy District. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the 2nd respondent to give police protection for the cultivation of petitioner's land, comprising in Survey No.240/3 to the extent of 24 cent at Thuvarankurichi Village, Marungapury Taluk, Trichy District.

2. Today when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that upon the receipt of the complaint dated 30.06.2020, given by the petitioner, an enquiry has been initiated in current enquiry No.NDIS/73/STO/Thuvarankurichi/2020 and the same is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent Police. Further, if necessary, the 2nd respondent Police is ready to give necessary police protection to the petitioner.
