Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to initiate action and to remove the encroachment made by the 5th respondent in Survey No.102, Nambuthalai Village, Ramanathapuram District, classified as Odai Government Poromboke within a period that may be stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to initiate action and remove the encroachment made by the 5th respondent in Survey No.102, Nambuthalai Village, Ramanathapuram District, classified as Odai Government Poromboke.

2.We have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. We have also perused the records carefully.

3.The learned Government Advocate has produced a letter from the Tahsildar, Thiruvadanai, in Na.Ka.No.B6/19300/2016, dated 18.11.2016, wherein the Tahsildar has stated that there is no such encroachment at all, as it is alleged by the petitioner. The said statement is recorded.
