The petitioner has married one Pandiyan, which is an inter-caste marriage and aggrieved over the same, the father of the petitioner has given trouble to the marital life of the petitioner, hence, seeking police protection, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the entire issue has already been settled and both families are living in peace and harmony and therefore, no further order is required in this writ petition.
