ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN,J) This writ petition has been filed invoking Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking an order in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to give permission to conduct the Minno Ozhli Kabadi Competition, Sugurampatti, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District at Village level scheduled on 05.04.2015 and 06.04.2015.

2.Even in the previous hearing, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that in a similar function conducted earlier some offence was committed by the petitioner and hence, criminal cases were registered against him. this writ petition is also filed as pro bono publico. As the writ petition is a public interest litigation, the petitioner could have come with clean hands.

3.Having considered the submission made by the petitioner, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed. 4.In the result, the writ petition is dismissed. However, we make it clear that it is open to any other person having similar interest, coming with clean hands in conducting the competition by way of filing similar writ petition. No costs.
