O R D E R

The petitioner is before this Court seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the petitioner for the purpose of approval of a layout in Survey Nos. 189/1A1 and 189/1A2B (Part), admeasuring 5 acres and 9 cents, situated at Iraippuvari Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2. In this regard, the first respondent, by letter dated 18.12.2025, requested the second respondent to consider the petitioner's case for issuance of a No Objection Certificate for approval of the layout. Subsequently, the petitioner also submitted a representation dated 27.12.2025 to the second respondent seeking issuance of the said NOC. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered till date.

3. Mr. P. Subbaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2025 would be considered in accordance with law within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. The said submission is placed on record.

4. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2025, on its own merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. There shall be no order as to costs.
