This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to provide police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and his property also to take necessary action on his representation dated 12.05.2022. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents 3 to 7 came to attend the funeral ceremony of Nachiyammal. Thereafter, the respondent 3 to 7 threatened the petitioner to vacate the property as if the property belonged to them. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 09.05.2022 and enquiry was conducted on the said complaint. Even thereafter, the respondents 3 to 7 did not vacate the same. Hence, the petitioner gave a representation dated 12.05.2022. Since no action was taken on the said representation, this Criminal Original Petition was filed.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9569 of 2022 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.05.2022 will be considered within a period of four weeks.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents police are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.05.2022 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that no favourable direction is given in favour of the petitioner. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
