ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to monitor the Temple festival and to ensure that the same is conducted without giving any special honour to anyone.
2. The learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the fourth respondent submitted that as and when the Temple festival is conducted, no one will be given any preference or special honour and everybody will be treated as equal before God.
3. The submission made by the learned Standing counsel on behalf of the fourth respondent is recorded.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and 5 submitted that considering the pandemic situation, no permission has been given to conduct any Temple festival and only as and when the situation improves, permission will be considered for conducting the festival.
5. The submissions made by the learned Government Advocate is also recorded.
6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
