Mr.Pala Ramasamy, learned standing counsel, takes notice for the respondent.
2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned standing counsel for the respondent - Bank, on instructions, submitted that since the petitioner did not make any claim for return of original documents for a considerable time, the original documents have been sent to the Sub Court, Thanjavur. However, since the petitioner now claims possession of the original documents, the respondent - Bank is willing to handover the same, after retrieving it from the Sub Court.
4. In the light of the submissions made by the learned standing counsel for the respondent - Bank, there shall be a direction to the respondent - Bank to consider the petitioner's request with regard to return of original documents, within a period https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
