Respondents 3 & 4/ Petitioners 2 & 3 PRAYER:- Civil Revision Petition filed under Section 25 TN (Buildings L & RC) Act, to order speedy disposal of R.C.O.P.No.31 of 2018 on the file of the Rent Controller-cum-Third Additional District Munsif Court, Tiruchirappalli and allow this revision. For petitioners : Mr.P.Arun Jayatram

ORDER

This revision has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of RCOP.No.31 of 2018 on the file of Rent Controller - Cum - III Additional District Munsif Court, Tiruchirappalli, within a period fixed by this Court.

2. The main contention of the revision petitioner is that he is a Senior Citizen and that therefore, this case has to be expedited. The fact remains that the RCOP has been filed in the year 2018. The High Court has already issued Circulars to the District Judiciary directing the Courts to give priority for the cases relating to the Senior Citizens, HIV affected persons, Defence personnel, women and children etc., The revision petitioner without approaching the trial Court has directly approached this Court. In the absence of total pending particulars and the work burden of that particular Court, this Court is not inclined to give any direction to dispose of the case within the specified period of time. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

C.R.P(MD).No.958 of 2021

3. However, the trial Court is required to give priority to the cases, as per the Circulars of the High Court. The revision petitioner is at liberty to approach the trial Court for early disposal and if such a requisition is made, the learned Judge is directed to consider the same on the ground of Senior Citizenship, for early enquiry.

4. With the above observation and direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
