PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to take suitable action based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.03.2015. For Petitioner : Mr.A.Prasanna Rajadurai for Mr.S.Muthalraj For Respondents 1 to 7 : Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, Government Advocate.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J] The petitioner has come up with this litigation, as a Public Interest Litigation, seeking a direction to the third respondent to take suitable action on the representation made by the petitioner on 02.03.2015, alleging certain irregularities and illegalities allegedly committed by one Mr.Selvamani, the Headmaster of Panchayat Union Middle School at Dharmapatti Village in Sivagangai District.

2.It is brought to our notice by the learned Government Advocate that on the said representation, by following the procedure established, disciplinary action was taken against him and he was placed under suspension. However, he challenged the said disciplinary proceedings before this Court and a learned Single Judge of this Court has set aside the same. As against the same, the Government has filed an appeal and the same is pending before a Division Bench.

3.In view of the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate and since action has been taken on the representation, nothing survives in this writ petition.
