ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to give permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament scheduled to be held on 11.04.2015 and 12.04.2015.
2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents.
3. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. The only objection raised by the learned Government Advocate is that there is a likelihood of law and order problem.
5. By way of reply, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Kabadi Tournament is being conducted for the past 11 years.
6. Considering the above facts and circumstances and in the absence of any material to hold that there will be a law and order problem, a direction is issued to the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct Kabadi Tournament scheduled to be held on 11.04.2015 and 12.04.2015. It is made clear that it is open to the respondents to impose any condition for conducting the programme https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
including the timings. The petitioner is directed to abide by the conditions imposed by the respondents.
7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
