PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the entire records connected with the detention order of the respondent No.2 in Detention Order M.H.S.Confdl. No.32/2022, dated 05.04.2022 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu by name Raja, son of Kovilpillai @ Thiruvandi, aged about 67 years, now confining as "Goonda" at Palayamkottai Central Prison, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the Additional Public Prosecutor, by producing a proceeding in G.O.Rt.No.2872, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 18.05.2022 submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.
