Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor for the Petitioner and of Mr. P.

This Court, vide order dated 16.12.2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14342 of 2020, directed the fourth respondent, namely, the fourth petitioner herein, to complete the investigation in Crime No.3 of 2014 and file a final report before the Court concerned within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2. Now, this petition has been filed seeking extension of time to complete the investigation in Crime No.3 of 2014 and file the final report.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that since number of documents have to be collected, six months' time be granted to complete the investigation and file a final report.

4. Considering the fact that the crime is of the year 2014, four months' time is granted, to complete the investigation and file a final report, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of.
