ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A) IPC, in Crime No.Not known of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.196 of 2022.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry and if any prima facie made out against the petitioner, register the F.I.R or close the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.9524 of 2022 petition enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further, the petitioner is directed to co-operate for the enquiry. In the meanwhile, the petitioner shall not be arrested.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
