This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to grant permission to conduct peaceful procession to mark birth anniversary of Perunthalaivar Thiru.Kamarajar (Kalvi Thanthai) from "TMB Bank, Valliyoor Branch" to "Kalvi Thanthai Perunthalaivar Thiru.Kamarajar Statue" near Valliyoor Old Bus Stand and to distribute books, sweets, clothes to the students, age old peoples and common public on 15.07.2018 (Sunday) between 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 09.07.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 09.07.2018 to the respondents to grant permission conduct peaceful procession to mark birth anniversary of Perunthalaivar Thiru.Kamarajar (Kalvi Thanthai) from "TMB Bank, Valliyoor Branch" to "Kalvi Thanthai Perunthalaivar Thiru.Kamarajar Statue" near Valliyoor Old Bus Stand and to distribute books, sweets, clothes to the students, age old peoples and common public on 15.07.2018 (Sunday) between 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submission made by both parties, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 14.07.2018. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
