For Respondent : Mr.M.Chandra Sekaran, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR BAIL Under Sec.439 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.515 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused herein was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.07.2020 for the alleged offences under Sections 392 r/w Section 397 of IPC, in Crime No.515 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had demanded Rs.1000/- from the defacto complainant, when the same was refused by him, the petitioner said to have threaten him at knife point and snatched Rs.500/- from him and criminally intimidated him. Hence, the present complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.9013 of 2020 implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petitioner is having nine previous cases of similar in nature.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that there are nine previous cases pending against the petitioner of similar in nature and the petitioner is a notorious rowdy element, and the matter is under investigation and hence, at this stage, the bail cannot be granted, hence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
