PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.180 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who was arrested on 20.06.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1-a), 4(1-aaa) and 4(1-A) of TNP Act in Crime No.180 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that on 30.06.2021 when the respondent police were engaged in prevention of prohibition offence they found a person near northern side of palm tree grove of Mangeleswari Nagar. On seeing the police the petitioner herein tried to escape, the police apprehended him and found his identity as Chandran, the petitioner herein. On search they found three blue colour plastic drum with a capacity of 200 litres each and in each drum they found 200 litres of toddy. Hence the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 20.06.2021, hence he seek bail.

CRL OP(MD). No.8491 of 2021 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police opposed this petition on the ground that the investigation is not yet completed. He would further submit that the petitioner is known offender relating to prohibition offences and 19 previous case of similar nature are pending against the petitioner.
5. Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner is having 19 previous cases of similar nature, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
6. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
