Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 to 4 herein from in any manner registering the document submitted by the seventh respondent with respect to the house property comprised in Flat No. 5-C, 5th Floor, Ram's Maris Apartment, No.1 Lawson's Road, Cantonment, Trichy City acknowledged by the office of the fourth respondent in document in S.No.T P 92764338 token No 610 dated 15.07.2020 pending for registration and consequently directing the fifth and sixth respondents to initiate appropriate criminal action against the seventh respondent on the basis of the representation made by the petitioner dated 31.07.2020. 1/3

ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to dispose of his representation 31.07.2020.

2.Mr.V.Anand, learned Government Advocatetakes notice for the respondents 1 to 6.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 31.07.2020 to forbear the respondents 1 to 4 from in any manner registering the document submitted by the seventh respondent with respect to the house property comprised in Flat No. 5-C, 5th Floor, Ram's Maris Apartment, No.1 Lawson's Road, Cantonment, Trichy City and consequently directing the fifth and sixth respondents to initiate appropriate criminal action against the seventh respondent. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 6, on instructions, would submit that admittedly, the seventh respondent had presented the document for registration before the Sub-Registrar's office and thereafter, he has not pressed for registering the document and received the same. The learned Government Advocate would further submit that as on today, the document presented by the seventh respondent is not pending with the Sub-Registrar's office.

5.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate that as on today, no document is pending before the Sub-Registrar's office, the relief sought for in the Writ Petition is liable to be rejected. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed at present. However, it is open to the petitioner to agitate his grievance, if necessary, at an later stage. No costs.
