Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus, to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No. 1950/2023/pa 2 dated 11.04.2023, and to quash the same as illegal and

direct the respondents 1 to 3 to permit the petitioner to continue his work of Water tank security in the 3rd respondent Panchayat. For Petitioner :

ORDER

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a Pump Room Watchman in the Tisaiyanvilai Town Panchayat, challenging the order of transfer to Nunguneri Town Panchayat.

2. At the time of admission, an interim order was passed by this Court on 21.04.2023. In compliance of the said order, the District Collector, Tirunelveli, issued instructions to the Executive Officer of Tisaiyanvilai Town Panchayat, to cancel the order of transfer of the writ petitioner herein by way of his proceedings, dated 15.06.2023, and he has directed the Executive Officer to retain the petitioner in Tisaiyanvilai Town Panchayat.

3. In view of the subsequent developments, nothing survives to be adjudicated in this Writ Petition, which is, accordingly, closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected W.M.P.(MD) Nos.8312,8313 and 8314 of 2023 are closed.
