Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to call for records and to quash the FIR in Crime No.6 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kenikkarai Police Station, Ramanathapuram District and quash the same as illegal in respect of the above petitioners/Accused Nos.1 and 11 are alone concerned.

ORDER
This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.6 of 2020 registered on the file of the first respondent as far as the petitioners are concerned.
2.The petitioners and the defacto complainant are present before this Court in person. They have been duly identified by their respective counsel and they also produced their Aadhar Card. A joint memo of compromise has also been filed. During the enquiry the defacto complainant submitted that he does not want to pursue the complaint. When the parties have arrived at amicable settlement and the deafcto complainant does not want to pursue the complaint, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9498 of 2022 quashed for these petitioners (A1 & A11) and the criminal original petition is allowed. The compromise memo will form part of the order.
