ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N. ANAND VENKATESH,J.) Pursuant to the earlier order passed on 06.04.2026, the detenue was produced before this Court.

2. The detenue stated that her date of birth is 18.04.2009 and she had discontinued her 11th standard. She further stated that she developed a relationship with a boy, named, Sriram.

3. On carefullly appreciating the demeanor of the victim girl, we find that the victim girl has been put to threat by the said Sriram by showing certain photographs. Considering the age of the victim girl, she got frightened and in such a helpless situation, the said Sriram has taken

advantage of the same and had taken the victim girl to Tiruppur. The victim girl stated that she was left in lurch at Tiruppur and at one stage, she was not able to find the whereabouts of the said boy Sriram.

4. The parents of the detenue were present before this Court. They stated that they will take care of the girl. They requested this Court for a direction to the Police to ensure that the said Sriram does not cause any threat to their daughter.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions given by the Investigation Officer submitted that the whereabouts of the boy is now being ascertained and that effective steps will be taken to secure the boy. It is further submitted that within a week, the medical examination of the victim girl and recording of her statement under Section 183 of BNSS will be completed.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the victim girl has now been secured and handed over to the parents, the recording of the statement under Section 183 of

BNSS shall be completed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kulithalai, within a week. In the mean time, the medical examination of the victim girl shall also be completed. The second respondent shall effectively proceed further with the investigation against the accused person and complete the investigation in accordance with law.
