Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The Commissioner, Vikramasingapuram Municipality / first respondent herein had issued the impugned notice dated 17.08.2020 calling upon the writ petitioner to remove the encroachment in question. It is seen that the petitioner had put up a compound wall across the petition-mentioned supply channel. We do not find any ground to interfere. The first respondent is directed to enforce the 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.10496 OF 2020 impugned notice within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
