Mr.P.Kottai Chamy, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 57 of 2024 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No.57 of 2024, for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) IPC, have filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that on 20.04.2024, 1/3

the defacto complainant and others have attacked one Mahendravarman and two others. On seeing the same, the petitioners went to rescue them. At that time, the defacto complainant and others have attacked the petitioners, abused them using filthy language and also they foisted the complaint. The respondent police has also without enquiring into the same, registered the case as against the petitioners. He further submits that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police raised objections to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners and submitted that several previous cases are pending against the petitioners

4. Considering the antecedents of the petitioners this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
