PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, to direct the 3rd respondent herein not to harass the petitioners by falsely implicating the petitioners in a money transaction based on a false complaint filed by the 4th respondent at the instigation of the 5th respondent. O R D E R
This petition has been filed by the petitioners to direct the 3rd respondent not to harass the petitioners by falsely implicating the petitioners in a money transaction based on a false complaint filed by the 4th respondent at the instigation of the 5th respondent.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that based on the complaint lodged by he 4th respondent, they assigned C.S.R.No.218 of 2025 and called the petitioners for enquiry. Apart from that they have not harassed the petitioners as alleged by them.

3. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the respondents no.3 to 5 inclined to pass orders in this petition.
4. According to the petitioners, the 3rd respondent harassed the petitioners and the same was denied by the respondents no.1 and 2. However, based on the compliant lodged by the 4th respondent, they called the petitioners for enquiry in C.S.R.No.218 of 2025. Therefore, it is for the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action in accordance with law. In view of the same, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of one week in accordance with law.
5. With the above said direction, this criminal original petition is closed.
