ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Clause 6(4) of Tamil Nadu Scheduled Commodities (Regulation of Distribution by Card System) Order, 1982 and Section 7(1)(a)(ii) of Essential Commodities Act IPC in Crime No.29 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution, as per the de-facto complainant, is that the accused persons have illegally transported 12tons of PDS Rice. Hence, the case.

3. Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4.Taking into consideration the habituality of the petitioners in committing the crime and also the fact that the petitioners are having seven previous this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Hence, this petition is dismissed.

5. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
